I have always liked the look of Simpson helmets, as they are so distinct. The only challenge I found was that the various models all fit very differently (Outlaw, Speed, Ghost, Mod, etc), so try before you buy to make sure you're not disappointed. For me, the Outlaw Bandit had both the style I was after, and fits me like a glove. At the time of purchase, there were no other visors available for the Outlaw Gen 3, but now that they are in stock, I will need to pick one up as I rarely ride with a clear visor. So, while the quality and fit are amazing, there are a few things I don't like. First, no toolless visor change. My old KBC Assassin is toolless, and I bought that lid back in 2006! It sucks to have to dig though your pockets for a coin, or crack open your to kit just to change your visor. Secondly, the visors are not Pinlock compatible. With Pinlock being all the rage in anti fog technology, I'm surprised this system wasn't considered when designing the Mod 3. Aside from that, it's well made, a fair price, and definitely has that cool factor.
